Vacation Scrapbook for Nephew

Every year my husband, daughter, and I go on a 10 day vacation with his parents.  We are in the SE part of Minnesota, so for us going "up north" means driving for 8 hours to a small resort on a lake about an hour from the Canadian border.  My husband and his father like to fish, meanwhile "the women" stay behind to enjoy the day and relax around the cabin or the swimming pool.  Last year we decided, last minute, to take our oldest nephew with us.  He was 13 at the time and had a blast!  He was in the swimming pool 2-3 times a day, played shuffleboard with the old folks, went fishing with the men, and played down on the beach with the other boys.  I decided I would make him a scrapbook, memorializing his unforgetable week away from home.  I'm going to present it to him on the last day of school, as a summer vacation kickoff suprise.

I used 18 out of 20 of the pages in the Hobby Lobby's The Paper Studio The Great Outdoors.  Two other sheets (the water ones) are from Hobby Lobby's The Paper Studio loose stock.  I also added assorted stickers from my stash.  I kept it simple with just black cardstock mats on the pictures and computer generated journaling.  I managed to get the whole think done in about 4 hours.  I thought that was pretty good for a 20 page 12x12 scrapbook from start to finish.

Sorry about the quality of some of the pictures.
