This adorable "happy" little card was made using a cute girl on a swing stamp set from SP & Company. There is also a matching die and sentiment set to go along with it. I used my Lifestyle Crafts circle and scalloped circle dies to make the card base and layers. The patterned paper is from the American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray collection that I purchased either from Target or Michael's (sorry...I can't remember which). The white braided trim is from Hobby Lobby. The small butterfly epoxy glitter sticker is from the K & Company Susan Wright snow globe sticker set. Red cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.
I followed the Mojo Monday weekly blog sketch #295 for this card. I have never submitted a card before, so this will be fun entering for the first time.

Sunshine Emma Card
This adorable card was made with the new Sunshine Emma stamp set from SP and Company. I am a member of their 6x6 paper pad/stamp set club. It is an awesome membership. details of the club here.
I used both the stamp set and the Sweet Girl paper pad. They now have the coordinating die for this set. I also did some sewing on the card for the first time. I just got a new/used mini Janome sewing machine. I have wanted one for a very long time to devote just to my card making.

Cards made with Raisin Boat "Imagine" Stamp Set
I recently discovered a pretty cool stamp company, Raisin Boat, that RENTS stamps sets for a monthly membership fee. Just like Netflix, you get to pick out sets and place them in your queue and they will send you the sets you have requested per whichever membership plan you choose. You can keep and use the stamp set for as long as you need to, when you're done just place it in the provided return postage envelope and they will send you the next set on your list. If you choose to purchase a set that you are already renting, you may keep it and pay the discounted membership price and then you also avoid the shipping charges.
I just started my membership, and I have to say I already have alot of stamps picked out. They have over 250 sets available and are always adding new ones.
I submitted these two cards to them, with the hopes that they will publish them to their idea gallery. Cross my fingers, they said the would but that it could take awhile to see them on the website.

St Patricks's Card Swap
I recently participated in my first St. Pattys Day card swap over at Amy's channel on Youtube (aottmers224). We were to make 8 cards (I was in group 1) and the only stipulation was that we weren't allowed to use any flat stickers.
My marbled papers were from this etsy store, ModernMarblingDesign

Baptism Card
My new little niece was baptised this last Sunday. This is the adorable card I made for her. I found the card template online. I just did a google search for baby dress card templates and there are several that come up for free download. I used my Swiss Dots and D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug folders on it to make the dress embossed. I then added ribbon and adhesive pearls. I think it turned out quite adorable.
Strawberry Shortcake Card
I made a very similar card to this for my niece, Olivia's 9th Birthday. On her card I made a much bigger cluster of flowers and bling. It came out quite gorgeous, in my opinion.

Glitter Paper Flowers
I watched a couple of videos on youtube showing how to make paper flowers from only a couple of punches. I didn't have the exact punches that they used, but I figure the two that I did have would work. I like them, I think they turned out pretty. I used glitter paper from an old paper pack I got at Walmart a few years back, by Best Occasions. Now I think they need some kind of green leaf/leaves added to them. Not sure if I will cut some out on my cricut, or look into buying some silk leaves from somewhere, but I think they would look more realistic if there was a little leaf sticking out from underneath. What do you think?

Fussy Cutting
Here is a video of some fussy cutting I have been working on. I am totally into digi images right now, both black and white and pre-colored. I prefer the precolored, just because I think they are already colored up so pretty and my copics skills are not much to be desired. My middle finger was permanently numb from the scissors for about 5 days. It took that long to get all the feeling back, weird, hugh?

Making a Card with Amy #1
My dear friend, Amy, and I decided to do a little project together. We decided to take turns picking the project, and as often as once or twice a week we would get together via Face Time on our iphones and we would craft together making cards. Since it was my idea, I got to pick first. I chose the Mojo Monday card sketch #279 for our project. And the only other stipulation was that we had to use paper from either the "Love" or "With Love" 6x6 paper pads from Recollections sold at Michael's. Other than those two rules, we could do whatever we wanted. We were also to make two cards, with at least one of the two needed to be the sketch and the second one could be from the sketch or anything we wanted to do using our scraps. We also promised to mail each other one of our two cards as a keepsake.
I picked my papers from one of the pads, I matted them onto Certainly Celery cardstock by Stampin' Up and put them all on a Pure Poppy cardstock from Papertrey Ink. My main image was a pre-colored digi stamp from Pink Cat Studios named "Betty Ladybug on Flower", you can view the image here. The sentiment stamp was from MFT, "You Make My Day" set, click here. The ribbon was from Hobby Lobby, and I used the Sizzix Oval Dies to cut out and frame the main image.
I think this idea was a great activity for two long distance friends. She lives in Texas and I live in Minnesota, so weekend get togethers to craft are pretty much out of the question. I had a great time and I can't wait to see what she picks for us to do next.
Lily Strawberry Valentine Card
This adorable image, Lily Strawberry is from Pink Cat Studio Designs, click here.
The paper was from an American Crafts 6x6 paper pad called "With Love" that I purchased recently at Target. The corrugated base card is from Recollections at Michaels as well as the burlap trim. The Heart Doily Die is from MFT, click here. The teal cardstock layered is from a new collection from Recollections at Michael's called "Sugar Candy". The buttons were from Papertrey Ink.

Decorated Steno Notebooks
I wanted to share some altered steno notebooks that I made for a dear friend and her two daughters.
The first one here, I used some glossy glittery paper from the Recollections "Winter Whimsy" Paper Pad Collection that I purchased this year at Michael's. The stamp I used is the Awareness Anya rubber stamp from The Greeting Farm. My dear friend had given me the stamp because of my daughter's Epilepsy. The pearl drop beaded trim was purchased at Hobby Lobby and the sheer white ribbon is from Stampin' Up.
This second notebook was covered in a purple metallic shiny cardstock that was purchased at my local scrapbook store (not sure of the brand). The paper heart doily is from the dollar section at Target. The sheer purple with glittered dots ribbon as well as the heart lace trim was from Hobby Lobby. The adhesive bling is also from The Paper Studio sold at Hobby Lobby. The mulberry paper roses were from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lavender rhinestone mesh was purchased on Ebay.
This last notebook, the blue prismatic paper was from Target, you get 2 sheets for $1 back in their scrabooking aisle. The black glittered cardstock was from my local scrapbook store. The large scroll border punch is from EK Success. The flower die is from MFT. The bling is from The Paper Studio line sold at Hobby Lobby. The black rhinestone mesh was from the Valentine section at Hobby Lobby that I purchased two years ago.
