One Dozen Cards | Jen Hadfield Simple Stories

Today I'm using the Jen Hadfield "Simple Stories" 6x6 paper  pad to make some quick cards. This paper is sooooo pretty, not my usual style but nonetheless still soooo pretty.

I used the one page with the cut-a-parts and made a grouping with a doily, paper flower, and a wood veneer heart.

It's a simple layout I frequently use when I need to crank out a large quantity of cards. I'm going to use many of these for Mother's Day cards.

Products used:
  • Jen Hadfield Home Made "Simple Stories" 6x6 pad
  • Doodlebug Designs 3" white paper doilies
  • The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) paper flowers

Bumble Bee Card | Scrapping For Less Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Today I am making a card showcasing just one of the FOUR collections you get in March's Flavor of the Month Card Kits that Scrapping For Less just released.   Full details of this brand new monthly card kit can be found HERE.

For my card I used paper from Collection 2 that comes in the Single Scoop Sundae, Double Dip Sundae, Deluxe Sundae, and Banana Split Sundae levels.

Recently I saw Jennifer McGuire use tulle on her cards, which I thought was GENIUS!  I just had to try the technique myself. I will link to Jennifer's video, here.

I think the card came out darling.  I used the scrap circle on a second card with a larger bee die cut.   Silhouette has the exact Bee cut file from Echo Park in their store.

Hello there!  Today I have a super cute teacher thank you card. If you have kids then you know you always need teacher cards on hand.

I used the School Time stamp and die set from Sunny Studio Stamps.   The pattern paper is from my stash. I think it's from an old Recollections collection from Michaels.

I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for the sentiment and colored in the apple with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.   The doily is from Doodlebug Designs.

Hop through and leave a comment on each blog, then come back to the Scrapping for Less blog and enter via the rafflecopter to win the pictured prize.

My card today features the stamp sets Little Angels and Angelic Sentiments.
These have to be about the most darling little angels I have ever seen.
I used the matching dies to cut out the angel and her banner.
Because I wanted her to be sparkly and "angelic" looking I used my
Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter markers to color her in.
I think she turned out very pretty.

Please enjoy this process video showing how I made this pretty card:
