Teacher Coaster Gifts

I found myself having a really hard time deciding what to do for end of the year teacher gifts. I like to put a lot of thought and special love into mine. I pretty much make them something each year, rather than buying things.

So I was doing a lot of browsing on google, Pinterest and YouTube and came across this lady who made fun and wacky epoxy resin coasters.  You can find her on YouTube and Pinterest, just search for Craft Klatch.  She has a series every Friday where she makes a different coaster.   Omg!  I must have binge watched all of her coaster videos over the course of 2 days. If you figure every Friday is 52 Fridays (give or take) per year and she had at least 2 or 3 years worth, that’s a lot of coasters!!!  You should check her out.

I chose several of her designs and made them to give as gifts. I also did a few of my own designs. I really had a lot of fun doing them and I hope the teachers will enjoy them.  They do take some time as you have to let them cure and harden at least twelve hours in between layers. Most of my coasters only took one or two layers.

So if you’re looking for a different yet fun gift try making a coaster!

Food and Candy:  Lifesavers, Tic Tacs, Runts, Nerds, Skittles and Goldfish Crackers.

Buttons, Mini Erasers and Flat Back Embellishments

Google Eyes, Rubber Bands, Paper Clips and Homemade Enamel Dots from Pony & Perler Beads

I purchased the 2 part Epoxy Resin from Hobby Lobby. They had 32 ounces (16 oz per bottle) for $23.99. (Which was $6 cheaper than on Amazon).

Teacher Apple Thank You Cards

Today I have a set of 10 cards I made for my daughter’s teachers. All 10 cards are the same layout but with different pattern paper. I did a lot of die cutting and ink blending on these, times 10.

My daughter is special needs and therefore has a Special Education teacher, a home room teacher, four Paras who rotate, a Physical Therapist, the nurse and her DAPE (Special Ed Physical Education) teacher. Plus she has her regular handicapped wheelchair van driver. A lot of people take care of my little girl daily so I like to put a ton more time and effort into their cards and gifts.

Tomorrow I will share what I made for gifts.

Pegasus Card | Avery Elle

Hello, Happy Tuesday!

It’s Stacy from CraftaholicMomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a pretty pastel and magical card featuring the Pegasus Duo Stamp set by Avery Elle.

I colored the images with Copic Markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I used Distress Oxide inks in Wilted Violet, Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar with the Echo Park Sail Away stencil to make a pretty background. The Oval Makeup Brushes (Amazon) make ink blending a dream!

Next I popped the two Pegasus’s up on mini Action Wobbles and added a sentiment to a strip of card stock. I cut the ends in a ribbon shape. Adding Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard and White Signo Gel Pen accents finished the card off nicely.

I hope you enjoyed all of the wonderful products featuring items in our Magical World monthly theme. We hope you love next month’s equally as much.

Magical Mother's Day Cards

Hello, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma today up on the Scrapping for Less blog with some cards I made for Mother’s Day. Moms are truly magical so I felt this set of cards using the Scrapberry “The Art of Nature” 6×6 paper pack fit right in with our theme of Magical World this month. They were very easy to make as I just let the beautiful papers do all the work. I added stamped sentiments and embellishments from the current Flavor of the Month Card Kit (which by the way is on sale for an additional 10% of this week!).

I hope you enjoy my cards. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Magical moms out there.

I made a card for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop using the Lawn Fawn "Thanks a Latte” stamp set. The patterned paper is from PhotoPlay’s Fall Breeze 6×6 paper pad. Fairy Kisses | Hero Arts

Hello, it Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with an enchanting card using the Hero Arts Fairy Kisses stamp set and papers from the Scrapberry’s “The Art of Nature” 6×6 paper pack.

I die cut the pattern paper panel with a scallop stitched rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I stamped the sweet little fairy out with Gina K Designs Amalgam ink and colored her in with my Copic Markers. I hand fussy cut her out and popped her up on the card with adhesive foam squares. Her wings and dress have a touch of sparkle to them with a clear glitter sparkle marker.

I heat embossed the star trails and sentiment with both white and clear embossing powders and Brutus Monroe Clear Embossing ink.

The theme for the month of May is Magical World. I hope you enjoy all of the great projects we have for you this month.
