Chibitronic Frosty Friends card

I made this adorable card for my 4 year old niece. She's going to get a kick out of the little fairies and the lights.

I used Chibitronic lights and a bunch of Lawn Fawn items. Almost everything can be purchased at the Scrapping For Less Facebook group or the website:

Here is my process video showing how to do the lights.

Scrapping for Less is so very thrilled to be offering our first brand new to us vendor on our website.

Along with Newton are some awfully cute images of other critters, but with their newest release there are also some very... elegant images that we have to offer. Our Design Team has worked super hard to bring you a great lineup of cards and even some layouts that showcase this wonderful company.

So, sit back, grab a cup of coffee and join us in hopping along to find out what fabulous projects we have for you today. Leave a comment on each blog and you will be entered into a random drawing for a product goodie! Twist Pop Card

These cards have been all the rage. So today with 2 others friends on a Google Hangout video conference call we made these. The version we made is from Maymay Made It on YouTube. You can see her video tutorial here:

I used the Doodlebug Boos & Brews collection, 6x6 paper pad and the Icon sticker sheet. The solid cardstock is from my stash. The Boo! die cut is from Lil Inker.

We were all ecstatic at how easy and stunning these came out.  Below you will find my instructions I typed up.

Checkbook Cover

I recently became an Avon representative so I needed a separate checking account to run my new business with. When my new checks came in the mail, I realized there was no cover in the box for the blank checks. Yes, I could have just stopped at the bank and asked for a boring blue or black one, but my creative mind got to thinking. Why don't I order some of those clear covers and decorate my own. That's just what I did. You can find them almost anywhere online but I ordered mine on eBay. Here is the link for the covers I ordered.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/400685145104
If this link stops working, just search for clear checkbook covers and you'll find dozens of listings.

I used some MFT checkered paper (pink) and some Lawn Fawn paper (yellow) and some left over DoodleBug stickers. And viola!  I'm very happy and it was super easy!

Scrapping For Less Grand Opening Blog Hop

Hello All!
Happy Saturday! We are so excited to bring you a blog hop celebrating the opening of Scrappingforless.com ! We wanted to do something fun for you all as you are the best customers under the sun and have helped make this dream a reality.
So before we get busy hopping we need to let you all know a few bits of information for this new site.
·         All items that are on the website are what we consider “leftovers” which means they are not new to any of you that order through the FaceBook Group on a regular basis.
·         Scrappingforless.com will be available 24 hours, 7 days a week so that you can go shopping AND you can check out as well with a credit card or PayPal whichever method you prefer.
·         Scrappingforless.com WILL NOT be replacing Scrapping For Less FaceBook Group, so if you are looking for Scrap Supplies at less than retail prices the FaceBook Group is STILL the place where all the pre-order albums will be listed.

There will be lots of fun games, prizes and scrappy things going on Saturday with the Facebook Event. You will want to be there. Each blog will have a small giveaway with the Scrapping for Less blog having a bigger one. To be eligible to win each blog's prize you will need to comment on the individual blogs but to win the Scrapping for Less prize you will need to comment on each blog and the Scrapping For Less blog. So try to be there! You are going to want to join in on the fun!

Each one of the blog hop participants has created something using older products they purchased from Scrapping for Less. Since the focus of the website will be to sell what I term as "leftovers" yet fabulous and great products we have focused on those items we as crafters seem to purchase and then hoard. Cause who would not want to use up their stash, right?

My cards feature products that I purchased at Scrapping For Less.  I used the Doodle Bug Friendly Forest collection that was from Fall of 2015.  I used the 6x6 paper pad, the Sprinkles Velum, the Icons sticker sheets and assorted Doodlepop 3D stickers.  I used various sentiments stamps from Paper Smooches, Lawn Fawn and My Favorite Things.

My Prize for the hop:

So on to the fun!

Doodlebug Fun in the Sun

Today I have 19 cards that I made out of 1/2 of a 6x6 paper pad and one Icon sticker sheet.

I used the sketches from Kristie Marcotte's Doodlebug Home for the Holidays 6x6 paper pad tutorial. I made minor adjustments here and there and used a different paper collection. I LOVE her tutorials.

The tutorial I followed is here:

Photo on top left shows what I had left for scraps out of the 1/2 pad.
