At The Beach

So grab yourselves an island cocktail (not coffee this time) and lay back in your lounge chair and browse through the wonderful creations the design team and guest designers have to offer you today. Our fabulous “At the Beach” card kit is available now, but don’t fall asleep in that chair or you just might miss out!

At the Beach Card

Hello!  Happy 1st day of Sneak Peeks!

Today I have a card I made using Collection 3 of the At the Beach June Flavor of the Month Card Kit from Scrapping for Less.

These puffy stickers are beyond ADORBS!!!  Plus they go perfectly with the pattern paper that was chosen for this collection.  I don’t want to give too much away but one thing I can say is, “You are going to LOVE this kit!”

So if you haven’t signed up for a monthly subscription (at a fantastic discounted price) then be sure to rush over to the Flavor of the Month page.  By signing up for a subscription is the only way to insure that you get a kit.  They tend to sell out fast.

Now onto my card.  I used my Stitched Circle Dies from Gina Marie Designs to cut out a circle and offset it in the lower righthand corner of my card.  I also cut the same circle out of some wavy striped pattern paper from the collection that reminded me of sandy hills on the beach.  I glued on some of the sequins that come in the kit and added some Glossy Accents dots to resemble water droplets.  I think it turned out super cute!  I can’t wait for you to see the kit, so make sure you check back each day to see what the Design Team has done for you with their Sneak Peek projects.

Thanks so much for visiting,

Things are Looking up!

Hello!
Today I’m sharing a super, too cute, over the top adorable stamp set from La La Land, called Things are Looking Up.
Things are Looking Up

I masked off my grouping of stamped images with Inkadinkadoo Masking Paper in order to color in the background with my Distress Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks in Broken China and Peeled Paint.  I’ve really enjoyed learning this technique with masking images and brushing on background color.  The Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies adds just the right touch to finish off the card.
To check out another card I did with this technique, click here.
