Proud to Announce......

Hello my friends.  I have some exciting news!

I was just asked to join the design team for Scrapbook Blessings Club.  It was something that was presented to me tonight, and I jumped at the chance.  I enjoy creating cards and other paper craft projects and look forward to sharing my creative passion with the followers of SBC.

About 6 months ago I was blessed to join Teresa's design team over at Scrapping For Less.  I am not going anywhere.  You will still see me all over the place at Scrapping For Less.  I have learned a lot from Teresa and she has allowed me to grow as a designer and blogger to develop my confidence.  I've very much enjoyed being on her team and plan to be a member for as long as she will have me.

When Sandy, the owner of Scrapbook Blessings Club and co-design team member at Scrapping For Less, approached me tonight with the opportunity to join her team, I didn't hesitate.  My goal is to continue to develop my skills and talents as a card designer and blogger as well as youtuber.  Creating is my sanity outlet.  I look forward to creating for SBC.

30 cards from Scrapping For Less JUNE Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Yes, you heard right. 30 cards from this month's kit. I could have gotten a couple more if I wanted to make some with tiny scraps into a quilt like pattern but I thought 30 sounded like a good number to stop at. I still had tons of stickers and sequins left, I just ran out of pattern paper. So if you own pads in the same paper you could continue on and on until you used everything up.

I heard June's kit sold out in as little as 60 something hours. So if you want to make sure you are guaranteed a kit you might want to consider signing up for the subscription, plus you save more $$ with a subscription.

For full details and to purchase, visit this link: Flavor of the Month Card Kit  of the Month Card Kit on the Scrapping For Less website.

First photo of each collection shows the four sketches that Teresa provides with the kit. The second photo is the remainder of that collection using ideas from my own brain. Lol!  I hope you like them and draw inspiration.

Shiver me timbers!  Hear 'ye, hear 'ye, now onto the lineup...

Hi, Stacy here. I was assigned the big daddy BANANA SPLIT to play with for the blog hop. In my normal fashion I again tried to get as many cards as I could out of the kit, using up all of the paper. I still had tons of extra goodies left over to make more cards. This time I got 30 cards, last month it was 28. How many will I get for July?
Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

For the blog hop I'm going to show four cards. One of each collection using each of the 4 sketches.   I will show the remaining cards in future blog posts both here on my blog and over at the SFL Blog

Collection 1- sketch 2

Collection 2- sketch 1

Collection 3- sketch 4

Collection 4- sketch 3

Details of the Flavor of the Month Card Kit:
Here's a quick overview of the fantastic value you receive in each level of the kit. You can choose a three month subscription to save even more money or just purchase the months you choose.

Single Scoop:  You will get 4 collections. Each collection has 6-6x6 papers and a stamp set. You also will receive 4 envelopes and 8 pieces of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock of assorted colors and white.

Double Dip:  You get everything in the Single Scoop option PLUS an embellishment pack for EACH of the four collections. The embellishment pack may contain buttons, bling, twine, ribbon, stickers, enamel shapes/dots, sequins, brads and more.
Deluxe Sundae:  You get everything in the Double Dip option PLUS a fantastic coordinating die.
Banana Split:  This gets you EVERYTHING!  All three of the Single Scoop, Double Dip and Deluxe Sundae options PLUS even more goodies like ink pads, an additional stamp set, tags, ephemera, embossing folders to just name a few.

In my opinion the Banana Split is the only way to go.  When you can make at least 28-30 cards from this kit I feel the kit proves to be well worth the awesome price. Plus you will have stamps, dies, inks, embossing folders and other goodies that you can add to your stash and be able to use over and over again.

Your next hop stop is here at Jess Crafts Blog

Don't forget to stop back at the Scrapping For Less Blog to enter into the rafflecopter drawing.

Thanks for hopping along with us,

Card Inspiration

Hello there. Today I am sharing some CASE cards I made from some inspiration I got when I saw Hennelie Bester's card. I thought her colors and simple layout was quite stunning. I often like the clean and simple cards more.

I used a zig zag die from Sizzix that I have had for years. The pattern paper is from Doodlebug Spring Things. The flower punch I picked up at Michael's.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's How You Bean? Stamp set.

I think they came out totally cute!

Mermaid Beach Scene Cards

Hello there. Today I have a couple of cards I made using some recently released MFT products. These little mermaids from Birdie Briwn are so sweet!  I used the MFT Beach Scene Builder dies to get her a background. I used the MFT Cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for the tropical sky. The images were colored with my copic markers. I'm still practicing on my coloring.

Oh No! Sharks! with Lawn Fawn's Duh-Nuh!

Hello, Stacy here with today's Lawn Fawn focus post for the month. Lawn Fawn is one of my most favorite companies in the whole wide world (umm, ocean!). Their images are so cute and completely easy to color. I'm the world's worst colorer, so if I can anyone can. LOL

I used several different Lawn Fawn products for this adorable pop up card.
I will list all the products below.

All of these products I purchased from Teresa at Scrapping For Less. She has two places where you can buy your goodies. She has a preorder Facebook group, Scrapping For Less, all you need to do is join the group and you can order all of the hottest, newest, and even your tried and true favorite products. And then she has her website store, scrappingforless.com, where you can find exclusive companies not available on the Facebook preorder group plus all of the items she has ready to go in stock for immediate purchase.

I hope you like my card!

Mini Card Kits in a Box

For my daughter's two teachers and two paras I thought I would make something special for them this year for an end of the school year gift. My dear friend, Teresa, and I came up with the idea to make mini card kits.  Teresa designed all 16 cards, supplied the product and cut all the pieces. I can't thank her enough for the hours she spent helping me. I made all of the boxes from heavy 120# card stock.

The teachers absolutely went bonkers for them. They were so excited to try their hand at card making. I have to admit I'm always happy when I can introduce card making to someone and have them get hooked on the hobby.

We chose to make 16 different cards. Each kit got 4 cards with all the extras they would need to make them. We used the Spring Things and At the Zoo collections by Doodlebug.

Below is a quick video showing the kits in detail.
