16 cards from Doodlebug Cream & Sugar

I jumped head first into the new Cream & Sugar 6x6 paper pad by Doodlebug. I used the cut aparts that come in the pad and some of the icon stickers and mini icons. 

I manage to get 16 cards from this paper pad, and I still had full sheets left over. I used my super quick 6x6 tutorial to mass produce these super cute cards. I will link below to the video where I explain my 6x6 paper pad tutorial.

Doodlebug Cream & Sugar Shaker Card

I needed to make a card with acetate for my partner in a Facebook card swap group that I'm in.  So I continued to work with the Doodlebug Cream & Sugar 6x6 pad. I also used the Silhouette cut file (which I made into a print 'n cut) to make the teacups. 

I then had this idea to make my own mini marshmallows and chocolate chips out of polymer clay.  They paired perfectly with the Kennedy Grace Sequins.

Happy Mail Newton and Kennedy Grace Sequins

Today my card showcases a super cute stamp and die set from Newton's Nook called Happy Mail. I paired it up with my Kennedy Grace Sequins in Sunshine on the Daisies.

Doodlebug Spring Things

I was fortunate to attend CHA this year for the very first time. It was a trip of a lifetime.  I am so very grateful to Teresa from Scrapping For Less for asking me to go as one of her design team members.  I will cherish those memories forever. 

When we first walked onto the showroom floor, we headed straight for the Doodlebug booth. I was in heaven. I truly didn't want to leave.  The colors and "pretties" filled me with such joy. I really could have lived there. 

        

They had dozens of card samples displayed. A few of them stood out to me and begged me to CASE them. Mendi created these two stunning cards, here is the link to her post.

Onto my project:

As soon as I saw these beautiful Sequins from Kennedy Grace I knew just what I wanted to do with them. I've always wanted to do this technique but something was holding me back.  Time and patience, maybe?  Because let's admit it, it is time consuming to glue each individual sequin down. But oh boy, is it worth it!  I think this card came out stunning. The sequins are brilliantly sparkly.  I kept the card simple to allow for the "pretties" to do their job, and they certainly did not let me down.
