Doodlebug French Kiss Valentines

Hello, today I’m sharing some Valentines I made for my daughter’s classmates, teachers and paras.

For the students, I used the Doodlebug French Kiss 6x6 paper pad.  I picked out 8 sheets of papers and cut them into four 2 3/4” acquires which I layered on 3x3” square pieces of coordinating card stock. I cut apart the two sheets in the pad  has twenty 1 1/4” square images and layered those onto 1 1/2” square cardstock. I used my Fiskars cutting blade to cut two slits to thread and hold the pencil. I used foam adhesive to pop up the cut apart image. I then punched two mini hearts and added them with glue dots. Covering the punched hearts in Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle marker added that last little bit of interest. I made 32 of these.

For the adults (teachers and paras) I made them Hershey’s Nugget tags. I used 5 more sheets of paper from the same paper pad and cut them using the MFT Treat Tag die. I also cut out solids card stock to use as a backer. I topped off each tag with a coordinating cardstock using the scallop die in the set.   I cut out the front rectangle holes on the pattern paper pieces  using the MFT Nugget Label, Window & Frame die. I then cut out the perforated tear window in the backer pieces. I inserted the Nugget Pouch with three pieces of candy between the two tags and adhered with tape runner. Adding Chunky Doodlebug Twine and a stamped sentiment finished them off.

All items used were purchased from Scrapping for Less.
