Sympathy Cards

I tend to make hundreds and thousands of cards per year.  I enjoy it very much, it is my therapy in a way.  I also do attend a couple of small town craft sales in the fall where I sell my cards to help offset my spending on supplies.  I just did a sale last Saturday and within the first hour I was totally cleaned out of Sympathy cards.  I couldn't believe it.  I had about 20 or so in the basket to sell and apparently it wasn't enough.  Through out the rest of the day I had numerous customers ask me for them.  I never would have guessed Sympathy cards would be the most requested type of card.

So....I have another sale coming up in December for which I will make sure I have enough this time.  Right now I have over 50 of them ready to go.  I chose simple, yet elegant designs that were easy enough (but still pretty) so that I could mass produce.  I made anywhere between 4 and 12 of each one.

Sympathy cards to me are one of the hardest themes to make.  Well, at least for me it is.  It's a  rather foreboding subject.  I'd rather make cards for happy events, but I do understand the need for them.
